Max Platt Ford Lincoln Turns 50!!

Founded by Max Platt who in the mid 1960's started in the car business at a Ford dealership in Waterloo, IN. He spent 8 years at that location and rose quickly to the title of Manager during his tenure. In 1973 Max felt like it was time to take the next step when he heard of an opportunity becoming available in the near by town of Kendallville; this move would allow the Platt's to not only obtain the Ford franchise but that of Lincoln and Mercury and the rest is history.

Max Platt Ford Lincoln is truly a Family Dealership which puts the needs of its customers AND employees first. This can be proven by winning the exclusive President's Award for both the Ford and Lincoln lines in Sales and Service multiple times over the years. Max and Carol continue to run the day to day operations along with their children; Jeff Platt has acted as General Sales Manager for the last 20+ years and Lisa (Platt) Bender overseeing all Financial Operations for just as long. The third generation of Platt's is now starting to learn the car business to carry on the family legacy along with nearly 25 other full time employees that are happy to call Max Platt Ford Lincoln their 'work home'!
